Order & Chaos

Gameloft really need to review their way that they design their maps and the monsters. I just got stuck in a spawn point, being killed by monsters before my load screen disappeared, losing money each time I die, then respawning to the same point, then getting killed again, losing more money, respawning again, then dying again, repeat ad lib.

EOS

No, not the camera thingy, this is to do with Android. I just found out about EOS today which is another variant of AOSP by a different team. I’ve had a few problems with CyanogenMod, and I’ve tried AOKP, so I’m going to give EOS a go next and see if that’s any better.

The Floor

Conversation at work today:

Me: “Where’s QA?”

Colleague: “She’s on the floor”

Me: “Uh… what the hell’s she doing on the floor? Actually, on second thoughts, don’t answer that….”

Colleague: “…. V_V; …. “

Sizes

Had a WTF moment today.

“Hi, I’m looking for a pair of jeans with a 30inch waist”

“Sorry, the smallest we do is 32inch. You might want to look at the childwear section”

“…. Uhm. They’re for me…..”

Since I started running seriously, I’ve lost nearly a stone in weight, and four inches off my waist. The belts I use, I almost always need to punch two extra holes to make it go smaller, and now, I’m beginning to find it harder to get jeans that fit me. >_<
