Be very wary about what you read and/or hear in the news today, being 1st April….
The Telegraph are doing a “Who should I vote for” on their website where you answer some questions, prioritise your views, and exclude any parties you’d never vote for the get an idea of which party best matches your views.
For me, it ended up with the Greens, which is the party I have been voting for a few elections, but probably won’t this year….

Arnold Schwarzenegger gives struggling gym-goer ultimate pep talk on Reddit
Someone told me about this. I hope I'm not too late here, I'm traveling, but I wanted to chime in.
I always say don’t be afraid of failure, because how far can you really fall? You found out - to the ground. It’s right there. Now you know it isn’t anything that should scare you.
You should be proud that you weren’t afraid - not embarrassed that you failed. You could have made excuses not to walk into the door, but you didn’t. You knew it would be hard, and it would be uncomfortable, and it might be awkward - and you did it anyway. That’s courage.
I’m proud of you.
The last guy I rooted for broke a world record in the deadlift. You have more in common with him than you think.
First, he started out lifting just the bar, too (when you look at him, he may have been 3 months old at that point). Second, imagine his courage. He walked up to that bar in front of a big audience and television cameras, knowing that not only had he never lifted that much before - NO ONE on earth had - and it was highly likely he would completely fail. You may not think about it this way, but you showed that courage, on a smaller level.
Finally, I’m rooting for you, too. You took the first step and you fell, but at least you fell in the right direction, so get back up and take the next step. Keep moving forward.

As of January 2015, more than 23.3% of the top 10 million websites are using WordPress (source). To say it’s a popular choice for a content management system is an understatement. Part of its appeal are the thousands of free and commercial, pre-made themes available for the system. They are an enticing way to publish a website with little or no knowledge of programming required.
…
It helps to understand the motivation different parties may have in creating a WordPress theme for sale or free download.
Individual programmers are often motivated to create a theme to upload it to a site that sells them at low cost. Much like a stock photo, think of these themes as stock themes. You pay a fee that is a fraction of the cost of hiring a professional to create a custom design and theme, you download it for your website, and the individual programmer gets a small cut of that fee. With free themes, the original programmer usually requires that a link back to them appear on the site, gaining them more internet exposure.
However, there’s also a third, more nefarious reason for creating free themes – to spread malware and other malicious code. That’s right, some unscrupulous individuals will code nasty stuff right into a theme hoping to cash in on the popularity of themes and the ease of installing them, as well as uneducated or uninformed user. So how do you avoid this one? Of course I’d recommend going custom (more on that shortly), but if you’re determined to use a pre-made theme, be careful where you get them. There are several popular sites that sell themes, and WordPress.org has a directory of themes. Those are your best bets but you often have little recourse if you purchase or download a free theme and install it yourself any of these occur:
- you manage to screw something up on the site
- your site is hacked
- your site is flagged by Google for containing malware

So they aired the leadup to the journalist’s death as part of the show. As long as the family are okay with it, I have no qualms. Journalists have a bed press (pun intended), with some seeing them as the cause of many deaths and suicides, not naming any names or celebrities. And plus, I can’t see anywhere in the article whether or not the walk was for charity or not. If not, and the walk was solely for the fame, then the question that needs to be asked is “was the fame really worth the cost of Matt Power’s life?”

A ginger cat missing for seven years has found its way home for the first time ready for 2015.
Garfield disappeared after going on the prowl from his home in Bridgend, South Wales, in 2008.
Despite not going far Garfield's CAT-nav apparently malfunctioned and he eventually ended up going back to a different home in the same area.
He was taken in by another family who believed he was a stray before they decided to take him to the Cats Protection Bridgend Adoption Centre.
There it was discovered Garfield had a microchip and despite an old address being listed the centre was able to track down his original owner Julie Calder.
